If that's what it takes I'm sure the Giants' lot on here will be happy.... however,

Red Devils 22 Hudds 18.

Obviously, I hope Salford win this one. However, it's high time Huddersfield beat us. Hope it's not this week.

Giants in some form, key players returning, momentum building

Salford misfiring, missing players, stuttering.

Nailed on Salford win.

Indeed.

Together with Mr Chronicler of Chiswick tipping us to win it's a dead cert!

Giants seem to be hitting a bit of form.

No coincidence our injury list is down to merely Hull FC levels from where it was earlier this season

Big game next week to see us in the last 4 of the cup too

Hardly. Widnes and someone maybe but not Salford

It's going to be very interesting as to what the Giants under Woolford looks like after being entertained by Thorman

To be fair, a lot of what we've seen the last few weeks is Woolford's doing via skype, email and video etc, but Spuggy has to take a lot of credit indeed! Yes we've had some thrashings at Saints and Wire, but most teams would with the teams we had to put out.

Turner is going great at 6 and completing Broughy well, Mamo looks a far more solid player on the edges, Kruise had his best game in a while last night, while the forwards are doing their bit also.

We seem to have a lot more cohesion, as is usually the case when you have so many injuries and disruptions, something our moaning and sulking fans refused to recognise.

Salford were poor i thought and it was only some sloppy work by Rankin for their 2nd try and some poor one on one defending for another which made it look respectable, Sau is wasted there.

I'll agree with the one Rankin was letting run dead, it was an absolutely nothing kick and should never have resulted in a try.

And both of Sau 's tries were helped by some poor defence that Just clocked off.
