paul
Is that mean the Dual Reg with Hull KR has come to a end?

georgeb1
I would like to think that if we gain promotion to the championship rovers and York could enter a joint reserve side as well as dual reg, that would really benefit both sides.
paul
Obviously by the thread there have a second club to send players to if we do not require any players from them.Wonder if the Knights were informed of the decision by K.R ?
spanishknight
Theres 4 on D/R in our squad on Sunday.
WRknight
I am sure it will depend on the individual players concerned, and the level of intensity of play that rovers think they need.

Sheen has to bigger squad and a lot of fringe player not getting enough game time, as we will only play players when our own are unavailable etc he has had to seek other sources ie Coventry to give them chance to play in competitive games Joe Cator and Brad Clevering are the first two who will play for Coventry this Sunday
Nearenough
It does seem from this that it is indeed the case that york are not prepared to be told who to play by kr, which has to be a good thing. I think we all apreciate that fordy is his own man and does whats best by york. If i was a spare kr player i know who id sooner turn out for n it aint coventry. Simon Hall
Farcical really. mn79
It would be interesting to hear the views of the club on this. It does seem a bit odd, particularly since we are supposed to have a fantastic relationship with Hull KR.
HaxbyKnight
If managed properly D/R can only benefit both clubs involved. having said that I'd like to see a cap that limits any club to no more than 3 D/R players in a match day squad. Also, no player should be able to play for more than one club on D/r during the season. If York didn't have a game, nobody who had played for the Knights on D/R, should be able to turn out for Coventry or anybody else.
