Interesting, if both giants and trinity win this week both will be in the top 8.

True, and if Les Dracs beat their visitors, Salford (which on form they should do), then Giants, Trinity and the Dragons are all in the top 8 and Rhinos head for the middle 8s.

hand on heart, can't see us getting the win we need at Cas, but hopefully we should push them close.

then again, no-one gave us chances against Hull & Wigan either in last 2 weeks.

A week ago, before the Connor injury, I'd have said a Hull win...

Now I think we just won't have enough "magic" to turn Wakey over.

Expecting it to be a nail-biter with Trin using home advantage to scrape in 🤕

Yep, going to be a team with a large percentage of injured players and young men.  It’ll be a for them, that’s for sure.

Think Hull will really miss Connor but still put up a good fight.

Hull by 2

Just about to write the same Dave.  Will be a big ask though.

Is Fifita going to Wire?

Nah,  it's Arona.   Still a big loss though.

Hull always seem to be able to lift their game against Wakey regardless of how depleted their team invariably looks.

Betfred giving 7/4 for a Hull win. Deffo worth a big bet.

Personally, I don't think it is.

We appear to be limping towards the end of the season, both in personnel and form rather sadly. If only we still had Mahe Fonua in our squad, he used to almost beat Wakey single handedly.

Never mind, I'll be wandering across to Belle Vue to see how we get on.

Wakey 26 Hull FC 16.

Carter is normally quick to unequivocally kill untrue rumours but has been slow onto this one whilst being very careful with his words so as not to actually deny that it’s true or not.

There is a press release from Chester total denial

"Wakefield fans can rest assured that David Fifita won't be going anywhere". Chris Chester.

Hope it's enough to convince the "gullible" and those off to "love island".

In complete agreement I'm afraid to say. We've well and truly hit the buffers.

I think Wakefield will win this one comfortably. At 10/11 with -4.5 on the handicap they look one of the bets of the season to me.

Another MPG even if by another name, this format just keeps on giving.

Seriously, there is more interest in the games for the bottom 6 clubs at this stage of the season, than under a simple one up one down, only those feared of competition deride it.
