Well , as Leon intimated  we won by 20 but the performance was very poor . Completion rates must have been well under 50% , it was incredible to watch us find it impossible to complete a set or catch a ball . Their try epitomised it really . They showed very little bar graft but we just kept inviting them on time after time . More fluency and that could have been a cricket score . Interesting to hear Leon talk about telling them all week but them not doing it at this level and training them hard for that showing . It’s a big change for him no doubt . That won’t get us anywhere so again we must strive to be smoother and stop making everything so hard

Brilliant ! My old man said why are we sitting on the edge of our seats at 24-12 , as we dropped it on our own ten !

Made hard work against a team we knew wht to expect, nasty niggly whining high tackling, not overly interested in playing rugby. shame to see Keighley become that kind of team, but they've been like that for a while now. Shame we got sucked into it with a weak referee.

Frustrating to watch but I'm sure the players felt the same.

Loved Fui's run at the end... I wish the players would back each other up tho. There was nobody for him to pass too.

Great singing by the crowd !!!! Top supporters!!!!

Scrappy horrible game to watch. Both teams were poor today only outdone by the official. 2 points in the bag and move onto the next one. Can't ever remember Gordon having a stinker like that before.

Yeah that’s about as bad as ive seen gordon, but fair play to Leon who hooked him early and replaced him with Kurt which improved us massively. Hopefully we rest the likes of ell next week which will be a formality and give the line of garner a game.

the futures bright, the futures blue and white

Same for Curwen . Errors seemed to be infectious , it got to everyone including the SL club lads . And as ever in our good patches there was some pretty tries from the middle to the edges . It was only us keeping that remotely competitive , their troubles have seen them regress . After being down on troops early they stuck in mind . I thought Dawson and Newton gave us a pep off the bench

What’s the crowd like David? Wondering if CC semi finals having an effect

Funny how there were only championship 1 fixtures today the brainless fools who run the game couldn't give a flying F### about us.

Excellent win in the end but it could have been 50 if we had played out sets in the first half. We were our own worst enemies which ended up with JD in the bin. From that yellow card we ended up in front somehow.

Defence was good and their only try came from our own errors, but our attack was anything from sublime to atrocious. Buffer, Penky, Daws & Sam all stood out. Although the likes of Ollie & JD always do. Mellor looked lively too. Great tactic to kick in behind their defence that was pushing up on the edges and buffer executed two beauties for Ell, before cutting through and gave a superb pass for his hat trick.

If we can put it together for a match we can beat anyone but it's eluding us at the min. Still a fantastic result though UTT.

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

Thought Kurt really tightened our middle when he came on put some good shots in aswell.

How good is sam at fullback, never looks in any danger

Agree with you. In my eyes it defeats the object of having an “event” without a proportion of those that would want to attend. Another example of them believing there is no life outside of SL. I know Bradford and Haven moved to Saturday (probably to allow Kear to commentate) but clubs shouldn’t have to move games.

Only problem with that is that it could come down to points difference at the end of the season. Hunslet did what we should’ve done to South Wales to improve their points difference.

At least one position will come down to PD. Might seem minor now , but every point , every kick bolsters it . It’s tight so it’s gonna be a point for someone

Lingard talking about how tough they’re doing it . 7 players out and 13 gone or unavailable since their money worries . Two down in the first 15 , one playing on the wing with a busted shoulder and hardcastle having to come off late . He put a forward at centre against miller he said . He said they are really wounded but have nothing else now . They were in it for 55 but ran out of steam but he’s proud of their effort . He hopes he can put 17 out next week . Feather was dragged out of retirement and only knew he was playing yesterday . Said we executed well though although they should have escorted miller of the ball better

It was a scrappy game at times but it was a good win in the end, Keighley tried to spoil it i think...think we could have went up a level if required... Goin in a HT after a sinbin up shows how good we defended at times.... Thought Forber had a decent game but Penky or Miller MOM for me... Forrester was good at FB and Dawson gave us a lift as he always does off the bench, could have put 60 on em if we completed more but overall, good win
