No shortage of talking points in this match.

Hess goes over, ref goes to the bunker... try!

Ah, but I was very confident in my view.

Cowboys are different again when at full strength. As soon as they brought the main men back on from the bench they were back in the game big time.

These two always make for exciting close games . Both not at their peak but they still deliver . Watching the players do their thing is brilliant , it’s just a frustrating shame this ref insists on always being far to visible and interfering constantly to break up the flow ... apart from when there’s a try then his confidence and vision vanish

I expected the Cows to improve when Maclean and Scott returned. I thought Maclean was going to be one of the buys of the year until he missed 4 months through injury. I tipped the Cows last night and I was reasonably confident. I also think they were robbed on the non-obstruction 8-point try.

Warriors need a big win here. They currently have a +/- of -14, the worst in the top 8. Since several teams could finish on equal competition points, a couple of big wins might move them up as many as 3 ladder spots by the end of the year.

I can't see a Knights win unless they get out to an early 10-0 or 18-0 lead, making the NZers panic. But then I don't see how the Knights can do that with one of their best weapons, Connor Watson, missing. I also don't see where George Williams would fit in here. I wouldn't play him ahead of Pearce or Watson and I certainly wouldn't move Watson to FB to accommodate Williams.

I expect the NZers to win 28-24

I’ll hold you to that exact prediction FD. Even 28-25 won’t be close enough! 😀

Both teams in Women in League kits I take it. Newcastle’s is vile while Warriors’ is rather unpleasant.
