Who do you watch on?

Who should you watch on?  I lean to CBC, but if we want the cash flow should I support it on Sportsnet?

(almost) Everyone I talk to about the Wolfpack here in Montreal has the same reaction:

(translation)

potential new fan: great, are the games on TV?

me: yes, it's streamed on CBC, live and on demand and also on...

potential new fan: great, because I don't have cable

I know Sportsnet do streaming too, but, see other discussions, it's so complicated to figure out what kind of subscription you need to watch it, and yes SN NOW is not free, and it's quite expensive compared to basic sports package on cable.

CBC streaming won't bring any money, I know, but it's great for the first years to promote the game and the team.

I hope they can renew it on CBC next season. If not, they should focus on showing the weekend game on a basic sport channel (SN or TSN), weekday games on SNWL if this brings more money, then offer on demand games for a small fee on Wolfpack TV.

They should also try to put a couple of late season games on City TV or a similar network.

A lot of positive reaction, but hard to get them to travel to Toronto. Even the Frenchies...

We need a cheap high speed train!

Also we lost our pubs, both still closed after a fire, so very difficult to gather people to watch games on tv.

When they are busy with soccer, don't talk to them, don't touch them, stop breathing, don't move, unless they already ate, then you might have a chance.
