Exactly, SL know that both Sky and Betfred will produce ‘action’ type promos, the point of this is to proved anticipation with a bit of class and it achives this. The build up in the tunnel was great but it then needed to end with some match footage. But then if the message is "New Beginnings" then you don't really want to be showing old footage. Agree with that. Maybe to one of the points above ... if there’s is then a follow up video it could work well, but that needs game footage in it. The point is also the new strapline 'new beginingings' there was a hell of a lot of negativity surrounding the game last year and I think they're getting across the point that this year is the start of a new era, and the narrative and mood of the vid fits that IMO (new structure, new CEO, new rules etc) so I guess the point of showing 'old' footage doesn't fit with that, again we have this every year and I thin people misunderstand what this promo is about.
