Barrow Raiders v Dewsbury Rams by 8
Batley Bulldogs v Rochdale Hornets by 6
Bradford Bulls v York City Knights by 4
Featherstone Rovers v Halifax by 8
Leigh Centurions v Toronto Wolfpack KO by 50 (might be 60 if O'Brian learns to convert from the left corner)
Swinton Lions v Toulouse Olympique by 40
Widnes Vikings v Sheffield Eagles by 10 (thinking the negative news about the club will have an impact on Widnes, otherwise I would have thought they take this game)

Probably cast my neutral eye over Swinton and Toulouse on Sunday. Hoping (against hope, maybe) for a tight game to maintain my run of close encounters.

SUNDAY 24th FEBRUARY
Barrow Raiders v Dewsbury Rams  (I can see Barrow bouncing back this week with a narrow home win)
Batley Bulldogs v Rochdale Hornets (Only one winner here for me. Batley by three tries)
Bradford Bulls v York City Knights (A tasty match, this. I think home advantage will give Bradford the edge. I'll go Bulls by a try)
Featherstone Rovers v Halifax (Never an easy game for us. It'll be close but I think we'll come from behind to edge it in the second half)
Leigh Centurions v Toronto Wolfpack (Wolfpack will be too strong for Leigh. I think they'll reach 40+ points at LSV)
Swinton Lions v Toulouse Olympique (A comfortable Toulouse victory)
Widnes Vikings v Sheffield Eagles (The match of Round 4 for me. I'm going to plump for an Eagles win. If they can keep their discipline I think they can edge it)

Bulls v York should be close. I'm not very  confident that we'll win.

For me it's down to Kear's selections which way the game will go. "Resting" one of our best defenders over the first 2 games (Hallas) against 2nd in the table (Sheffield) was a curious one for me.

Interesting one at Odsal. I genuinely love our new "rivalry" with York, and like to see them do well (except when they play us). I think this may boil down to is that overall, I think the Knights have clicked already, and I don't think the Bulls are there quite yet. Perhaps the rivalry aspect will help the Bulls get into gear, but my feeling at the moment is York by a couple of scores.

I genuinely love the "rivalry" not sure where it has come from apart from the bants with the games last season and the title challenge but it has been great. Shame the Summer bash isnt a repeat fixture!

I think it's just the closeness of the games and the title race. I only put rivalry in quotes, as - from my POV anyway - there is very little animosity that you sometimes get with these things (so long as our chairman keeps schtum anyway...). Agree, I genuinely thought the bash would be a repeat. There is always the Challenge and 1895 cups.

Maybe I'll feel different on that last one after Sunday...!

Its a friendly banter type of rivalry which is only good for the game and both the home and away games were the best games, another cracker for Sunday I am sure !
