Liam Finn

This is great news, the pack is strong and the effort outstanding but we've been missing someone with guile and ability to distribute and manage the game. Could have Brown and Finn at half back and Sykes into his best position of centre, he's our best players but even better at centre.

Thought you’d be starting to look into recruiting players from championship 1 as they already  know the standards ready for next season ?

Just checked my calendar .. its not April 1st!!  ...dare I believe this!!  What a fantastic signing!! .. The options that this amazing signing creates really whets my RL appetite!!  .. the lines he runs his kicking game allied to Sykes .... I can't wait to see them play together opening the door for Garrett Ryder and Worrincy!!  ... does he play at 9 or 7??  ... do we leave Sykes at 6 .. or put him in that problem right centre position!!

could be worth a few extra on the gate as well!!  ...... not short of kickers now either!!

I’m guessing that Sykes will stay at SO with Finn at scrum half, but what happens now to Brown, Thomas and Heckford?

Legs, Dews, Legs.

Average age of your 6 & 7 must be close to the margin we're going to beat you by on good Friday I.e. 40+

But us at the Dogs can't compete with the big teams financially, SB!

Never let us down last time so welcome back Liam and it sounds very promising indeed (unless you consider the huge distance between Horbury and Dews as an issue of course)

Can anyone think of an older halfback pairing than Sykes and Finn?

I thought Sykes wouldn’t do another year but he has been great so far this year. Hopefully Finn will do a good job for us too.

He wasn’t half bad last time he was with us but that was when when you could buy a pint for £1.20!!

I agree entirely. That's probably why he hasn't cost that much.

How much is your crocked loanee costing you by the way PM?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
