Going to be an important game for Skolars after last week’s second half implosion. Important that things are turned around quickly and we win. (Although NWC are a good team).

According to League Express, Doncaster shall be rotating a few players.  A (very) outside chance for Bears if they can produce their good home form?

The draw wasn't helpful to at least five of the amateur clubs. Hard to get excited about this batch of ties. The all-amateur clash of Thatto Heath and Mayfield looks the pick.

Newcastle Thunder make 2 changes,at full back and half back, from their winning spine from last week.

While new head coaches at full - time outfits Leeds and Wigan have also lost games ,West Wales Raiders, like Thunder, have lost to Coventry, and I would hope they surprise a few of those making the predictions.

Either a victory in the CCC or the League 1 fixture, next Saturday, would be most welcome.

All home wins, except Crusaders to beat Skolars

This

Don't think there will be any amateurs getting "shock" wins again this year

Named a pretty strong 19 even without DR players. Rich Owen, Jordan Howden and Brad Foster back in squad. Also Jordan Cox in line for debut. 2 trialists but we've done alright with the ones we've signed on so far.

FT 38-16 to the Dons. Flattering scoreline as there was nothing in it at 60 mins. Dons experience came into play in the last quarter and they pulled away. Good effort from the Bears and a lot of positives to take into next week
