Knowles vs Smeaton... only one winner today lol

And to think Smeaton wasn’t fit to wear the shirt not long ago 🤔he made the difference. That tackle on Adam Ryder at 12-4 wow💪👌

Yes that was the game changing moment, thankfully he tried to run through Smeaton rather than round him, after that moment there was only one team going on to win the game.

Yorkshire Post guy says it wasn't entertaining! Only if you were a Rams fan...without sounding dismissive, there was really only one team in it, even though we went off the boil in the last 15 of the first half. We had got on top of Finn and stopped him playing and nobody else in their side looked interested in trying to take the weight off him. 2 tackles at 12-4 won the game, Scotty and SS stopped 2 certain tries then we started to put the pressure back on, a bit like the Kear days....tackle the opposition into submission then kick on. I know Rams were a player or 2 light but don't think they can complain about the result, see were the better side. ALSO....we were good with discipline,  no penalties for fouls, in fact Rams were the same, a good clean game all round and the young referee was sure and certain in his game, did well.

Vert true Phil I think disco must of made two big statements. Defend and play clean the rest will fall into place.

2 hookers are a must though leak and reiss all day long. What's this singapore business trip they mentioned. Leaky go bug spotting?

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

Good result, lots of defensive effort.

Now 7 points clear of the relegation zone, can we start to relax and actually enjoy games now??

You were never in any real danger with that squad.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Of course we were the points gained from the Widnes, dewsbury x2 and Swinton have helped take away them points we are in the bottom 2 but the points have helped when Widnes didn’t pick points up against us or you.. anyway let’s hope we get the 2 points against fax

Let’s hope we can back it up next Sunday. We seem to have had so many false dawns over the past 2 years. Dewsbury didnt have much (always happy to see Sykes not in their 13)  and as soon as we cut the errors and played positively, the game was won.

Let’s see a positive, energetic, unforced error free performance on Sunday. We watched fax on Saturday, an impressive win. Every season, they seem to start slow and peak at the business end. It’s a big test.

Ive got to say too, that for the first time at Blackpool, we were outnumbered by the Rams fans.....
