Leeds are so poor right now lack of quality and of course lack of effort. I do t. Think there will be any kind of improvement soon . Cas  by 18

Had Cas beaten Hull then I might have tipped a Leeds win here. But with Powell getting ripped into them I am expecting a good response from Cas. I expect a response from Leeds too, but even if the effort is there the quality and the confidence isn't.

Both teams need the win. Leeds though without a new half won't offer much that is different.

Cas by 8pts here as they have got players coming back and have enough quality to see off a disjointed drifting Leeds.

The opening exchange of this game may be fascinating and could well set the theme...

As Peter Matauti lines up the kick off and takes a good long look at butterfingers Briscoe on the Leeds flank.  He knows exactly what he needs to do but can he pull it off? Will he hoof the ball out on the full or will he manage to get it to the unpressured Briscoe and force a knock on?

What a mouthwatering prospect this game is.

Given the shambolic state Leeds are in could anyone bet against Castleford. Tigers by 20+.

Closer than that.

Leeds, by turns, terrible and reasonable have only lost 2 at home.

They have alternated wins and defeats in their last 7 games. Loser last time out.

Leeds welcome back Myler,  Donaldson and Singleton though Hurrell - after his worst game so far-  is out injured.

This must be the two worst teams in this fixture for many a year.

After Leeds tiring time at Odsal, I think Castleford Tigers will have the edge - Cas by 6

Yes. Leeds are so bad, even Salford beat them the other week, an almost unheard-of event. Cas are going through a rough patch but should still have enough 'class' to win this one.

Cas Tiger JT says "we have got this", Ronny says "in your dreams".

So the dreaded loop fixtures are here. I have spoken to both Cas and Leeds fans this week who have said the fixture loses it's edge when they are played too often. I am sure other Club's fans will feel the same. Elstone and Co take note.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.
