We had to dig very deep against Warrington last week, and it will have taken a lot out of the tank. If this was just a regular game I would be worried about us looking a little bit tired and off the pace. Hopefully, the occasion and novelty of playing at Anfield will make it a little easier to get up for it.

I'll go for Hull by 12, but it's a game that we could lose very easily. Huddersfield aren't a bad side at all, and if our intensity isn't quite what it needs to be then they are good enough to take advantage.

Giants have a good record at magic, indeed, we are second only to the mighty Wigan in the all time magic weekend table.

Both teams are inconsistent, capable of turning on the style, but both capable of stinking the place out too!

Giants to overcome a lax Hull outfit Late on.

he full 19-man squad to face Huddersfield is as follows:

1. Jamie Shaul
4. Josh Griffin
6. Albert Kelly
7. Marc Sneyd
8. Scott Taylor
9. Danny Houghton
10. Josh Bowden
11. Dean Hadley
12. Mark Minichiello
13. Joe Westerman

14. Jake Connor
15. Chris Green
19. Masi Matongo

Hull by 16 in a second half romp.  Hudds won't be able to contain Kelly and Connor .....

I hope 🙂

I’ve not a clue about this one because FC are so unpredictable. Fartown have got some decent players, i think Gaskell is getting better all the time. The 2nd rower who scored two tries against saints in the Challenge Cup is having an excellent run. Although Jordan Turner is rubbish.

This is becoming a common phrase on Hull's match threads.

If both teams play to the best of their ability, Hull will win. I don't think too many people would argue with that, even Huddersfield fans. But we just don't know what we are going to do from one week to the next.

We are starting to get towards the business end of the season now, so I would like to think we are going to get our heads down and start stringing together some performances. We played pretty well in the cup and backed it up with probably our best result of the season against Warrington. But following that up with a half hearted effort and a 30 point defeat at magic sounds like exactly the sort of thing we would do.

Mellor isn't playing,. Turner has been one of our best players this season.

Both teams are unpredictable, too hard to call.

Righto. Game 2.

What do I need to look out for in this match?

How long it takes for Jake Connor to start a bust up.

No Houghton for Hull, can't say I'm surprised with the short turnaround to the cup game on Thursday.

Bit of a nemesis to my team, but i really like this Hull side. Got some cracking players. For me they should be top 2.

Casual by Shaul, but that was a horrible bounce. Huddersfield open the scoring.
