An article about sportsmen and injuries by Tanya Aldred, following on from Paul Wood's injury. Very positive references to the great game included:-

This was on the back page of the sport section in the hard copy.

I liked this bit:-"These huge men, rooted in their communities, are the most undervalued players in the British sporting pantheon. And hewn as they are from their industrial past, they are probably the toughest of all." A bit of a journalistic cliche in there but certainly a positive take on the game from her and she seems to have seen a few games which helps.

Jolly good.

Didn't some RL coach do that this year or last?

Jumped over a fence & got his (edit: Wedding) ring caught on the fence, & Pulled his finger off?
