I have the radio on at work - normally the World Service or Radio 5 - so these things get announced pretty promptly as breaking news. And I'm the grim reaper.

I really must pay more attention! I posted this earlier, then thought I'd posted on the wrong forum so deleted it, now I'm retyping it.  :blush:

 

The Liberal Democrat Party.

 

Not quite dead round here. The Lib/Dems have taken both Malton and Norton from the Conservatives.

 

Interestingly, there is still a Liberal Party round here. In Pickering, the Liberal candidate held the seat (he was the sitting councillor). In Ainsty (Harrogate), the sitting Conservative councillor switched to the Liberal Party and held the seat, though it looks like a switch from Conservative to Liberal.
