York beating Fev today is a shock. We are a third of the way through the season and whatever is needed to turn the tide needs to come quick.

Gutted once again. Yet another big lead surrendered !

Beginning to fret at our inability to hold on to good leads :(

Listening on Radio Cumbria it sounded like the lack of fitness was due to injuries rather than tiredness. Whatever, it's a worry for Monday. Will we have 17 fit players?

Cresta seemed to be of the opinion that we mus learn to control when in front. For instance when the team is 20 points up to control the game rather than scoring more points. For iinstance holding onto possession, slowing the game down etc.He said in commentary that he thought Barrow were a far better side. The stage has now got to that we must win above all else. Being the better side is no good at all if they score more points.

I'm afraid that Mondays gate will really show after recent defeats. All casual supporters are interested in is seeing the side win.

Just back from the game and to say I'm gutted is an understatement, completely blew it in the very last minute. Making no excuses but still don't know why the Liam Finch try was disallowed, had that been given we would have been out of sight, also had we backed Liam Harrison up when he made a break in the second half that also would have resulted in a try.
Cresta's dead right about controlling the game Michael we simply can't afford to lose these games when we're in control. Keighley were no great shakes today but played for the full 80 mins.

Cresta also said at 20-10 up we had injured players who were struggling anf obviously keighley were running at them knowing they'd struggle to defend. He also said at that stage, taking the injured players off, having to play with 5 forwards and one half back would have been preferable to defend our lead.
Would this have changed the result?

Do we know how to win games? It seems at so many times this season we've been in control of games and just let it go. The games against Doncaster, Batley, Leigh and Keighly could of all been wins. At points in the game we have been controlling it completely and then just seem to lose it. York on Monday is a must win or we're going to be in a position we may not be able to recover from.
