Eddie Hemmings is rugby league's answer to Roy Cropper.

Except Roy knows the laws much better.

And when they found our shadows
Grouped around the TV sets
They ran down every lead
They repeated every test
They checked out all the data on their lists
And then the alien anthropologists
Admitted they were still perplexed
But on eliminating every other reason
For our sad demise
They logged the only explanation left
This species has amused itself to death
No tears to cry no feelings left
This species has amused itself to death

I'm not sure what that means, but I'm hoping that it's suitably insulting to Hemmings. Cummings is doing well not to knock him out.

A moaning, anorak-wearing, Daily Express-reading, crabby old windbag who commentates on rugby league but seems to abhor physical contact between players.

Barrie is right of course. The fun's over with this 'banning the shoulder charge' nonsense.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Eddie, if you're going to have an ex referee sat next to you in commentary, try not to sound like you simply don't believe him when he explains why certain decisions are made. It makes his already ridiculous presence there seem even more ridiculous.

Cummings' explanation of a shoulder charge was very clear and easy to understand so what was Eddie's problem

Hock got penalised just for being there.

Ridiculous.

Say what you like about Agar, I think he's improved some of these Wakefield players. Especially Amor and Kirmond.

I bet he doesn't discuss it on social networking sites if so.

I'd say almost all round he's done that, he's got some stiffs and some misfits and he seems to work with it well. It'll be interesting to see how a Singleton gets on at Leeds, Agar had him on loan and sent him straight back.

I noticed that also, wakey got a beating (cant remember who to) with singleton in the team and the next week he was playing for hunslet.

from what ive heard  though in the past few games  for leeds singleton has been doing rather well.

This s the second Monday in succession where the skill quality has been awful.
Last week Huddersfield kept giving the ball away this week Widnes can't hold on to it.
We are light years behind the Aussies in basic skills.
