I just thought all the radio dwellers would be all over this they all love going on bout what's going on without actually going

You disrespect all us "radio dwellers" Pinky as you are obviously in the first flush of youth and clearly bask in your ability to follow Town to away fixtures. I too spent many decades on the road with our team ,and can say-hand on heart -that there isn't a venue that I haven't been to from Tatters Field, via Watersheddings ,Barnet Copthall Stadium and the ploughed field that Runcorn Highfield called home. You should reflect on the fact that many of us wireless warriors are no longer able-for one reason or another-to follow our beloved Club away, but we've put the miles in for the cause. As the man said-"Those who drink from the well should remember those who dug the well.".

As another "radio dweller" I would probably say Jack Murphy would be a strong candidate for man of the match for town. The rugby guy commenting didn't have much praise for our halfback's at all said Doran could have scored three yards out but chose to kick rather than go for the line.

I really need to change my username but can't be bothered. Hardly missed an away game from 1990 onwards until a few years ago when I found something better to do than trail down the motorway every other Sunday. The radio's just fine for me these days.

cant say as the radio is impossible to go by with these commentaries and I missed some of it through work , two weeks off so that by recent reports should mean full squad available for the first time ? wonder what will change for sheffield .

Any radio dwellers hoping for a reasonably accurate commentary on which to form their opinions will be seriously short-changed by the "Gospel according to John Gibson" He is to Rugby League journalism what Joe Cobb is to refereeing. I think we've been blighted by Cobb's incompetence in the past --how he has been allowed to officiate at Super League level is a complete mystery to me (and Dennis Betts). Red Hall might even bust him to the Champ. ranks and with our luck we'll probably get him.

Nothing to do with ability, all about willingness to go full time these days I am afraid, hence the quality (or lack of it)
