For any Hull supporter that's the most encouraging sentence in that article. Whether it leads to anything substantial is another matter but we need some new blood and some new money at the top. -

He is indeed, not sure when he's due back but it was good to see him in the East Stand mingling with the young fans before the game on Saturday. Davy Litten played and scored a try for the Reserves on Friday who in some kind of irony put 50 points past Huddersfield Reserves the day before the first team conceded a half century. In the circumstances I expect we'll see him back in the first team before too long but one of the (many) problems we've got is that the young players are having their confidence knocked playing in a first team that gets hammered as a matter of routine. You're question highlights how poor the club's recruitment and retention has been. Before a ball was kicked it was obvious the balance of the squad was all wrong. We've got umpteen full backs and hookers but virtually no real half backs. We can only hope that releasing Hoy gives us the opportunity to redress that but I don't have much faith in us getting it right at the moment. -
Shows you what a shambles we are defensively when we're leaving a skinny kid isolated in defence with huge forwards running at him. At least he's prepared to put his body on the line and get in the way though. As you alluded to earlier, some of our players look as though they're deliberately avoiding contact.
