  1. Trust me from experience (I looked after reds social media until this season) it's so much quicker and easier getting information out on social media it can be done from anywhere using a smart phone. Website a little more complex. But in an ideal world social media and websites should line up with the latest news.
  2. Workington juniors is an independent organisation but play under the club badge, reds in the community is owned by the club and another (50/50 I believe) and financed via monthly subs, subs for camps and sponsors etc etc. hope that makes sense. Also you are correct, massive own goal
  3. No I think it's been done on the back of the ladies team leaving. https://www.workingtonafc.com/club-statement-workington-afc-ladies-and-girls/?fbclid=IwAR18DvHIXFnmDZsQYOo3-Q2gyH5pU_g57XCa-HvR7sVWA2hSt9nN0nKzJyc
  4. Not a good look for the reds, well embarrassing really. Then reds release a statement saying they are launching a ladies team which will be owned/controlled by the reds and have representation on the board of directors........well why didn't you just do this with the already well established team. I don't blame the ladies for this re-brand. Town have taken them in and looked after them.
  5. Money can't be split. It has to be spent on the BP site.
  6. I see Manning Eliott is are doing the plans. A local firm. Hopefully they will be available not long into the new year.
  7. The CSV company has been in existence for a couple of year. The football Foundation will provide funding for pitches. I'm not sure what money is available from the rfl for stadium projects if I'm being honest.
  8. I believe it's 2025. The article does tell us plans will be available in the new year and that there will be a chance for fans to discuss/ask questions so maybe another even we can go to?
  9. News update. The article states the project is a £23m project? https://www.timesandstar.co.uk/news/23971289.workington-sports-village-project-making-significant-progress/?fbclid=IwAR04c4ThU_LazCvu4yok3cI8SVJJU7Jr4BF8bdw2jlpNnJHzy9ydb4tBWBw
  10. Maybe if fans from both clubs start contacting the CSV page asking for an update meeting....we might get one. It's about time isn't it.
  11. Absolutely correct. He convinced the electorate it was going to cost £90m so they voted for parties willing to cancel the project.
  12. I'm not sure what local elections had to do with Brexit tbh.
  13. Yes the money workington received has to be spent on the projects it was allocated for. Otherwise we lose it
  14. We wanted a new stadium but the population of allerdale sadly didn't. The voted out the council who where promising one and replaced them with a council who promised to cancel the project.
