Seaton Sandy
Good article in today's Times &Star on Chris Murphy and his re-birth as a player following a nightmare injury situation. An uplifting story in these down beat times for Town. Sounds like Chris was a player of considerable potential, having been on the books of Warrington and Leigh before a freak ankle injury intervened. Seems like he's found confidence and enthusiasm within the ranks at Town. At the age of 26 I think he can form a crucial part in the effort to get this club out of the relegation mire. Death to the Rah Rah's
In all fairness the lad has stood up to be counted when its mattered most this season and I sincerely hope this does kick start his professional career as there's no doubt he has the ability. Unfortunately some players just have continual bad luck with injuries - let's hope his are behind him
ivans82
no doubt about it chris is playing well and good luck to him on the injury front......he always seems to be in the right spot , would have scored 2 tries at haven if both passes weren t fired at his head near the line .
