Judging by a TV programme I watched the other day they're one step on from Dick Van Dyke. The villain was supposed to be from Manchester and had a London accent! I genuinely struggle to understand the accent of some of our players (eg JJB.) Judging by a TV programme I watched the other day they're one step on from Dick Van Dyke. The villain was supposed to be from Manchester and had a London accent! My wife was watching a B'n'W film about Amy Johnson the other day - she famously is from Hull. Her husband/co-pilot/ rival for various early aviation awards was Australian. In the film, they both had those plummy newsreel accents that Harry Enfield used to send up. I'm sure plenty of neutrals or new Toronto fans will attend when the Wolfpack are over here. I'm hoping to see them a couple of times when they come to Yorkshire.
