tandle
despite our defeat at Bradford we now can not finish in the bottom 2. with 1 round to go we could finish 0n 16 points above swinton-sheffied-Whitehaven-Workington the fixtures that effect us are as cfollows. Oldham v workington swinton v batley leigh v Dewsbury Whitehaven v sheffied
Connor mcb
You are forgetting about the bottom 8s
tandle
no I am just stating how high we can finish in the league before it splits the higher the better for the play offs
D1041
But that position puts you in a very good place for survival with home ties against your relegation rivals
tandle
if the results go for us and I think they will the team we can not catch is Dewsbury due to points difference. as it stands we are 61 points better off than swinton so swinton and Sheffield to lose and us to win
ORLFC
Sheffield loss? No thank you, would rather take another 2 points ahead of Haven, rather be 5 points clear of the drop going into the eights over being in a scrap and seven all to play for games. ORLFC
Someone a bit upset they didn't get a mention? No real need to be bitter is there pal?
Bryce
Who's deluded? I don't think any of the Oldham fans have said they expect to win next week. They should expect to have a good chance. 8th is a possibility, 9th is probably the end place if results go the way as expected (but has that happened at all this season?!). roughyed1064
so even if you finish in the bottom two this does not mean automatic relegation, am I correct or not.
Bryce
The bottom two after the 8's go down. Points are carried over from the regular season so Town and Haven will begin the 8s in the bottom two.
TOSH1960
Workington are finding a bit of form and we'll need to be on our toes next Sunday. We need to stay outside the bottom two, that was the aim at the start of the season and still is for me.
roughyed1064
correct regarding wokington , it wont be an easy ride .
Roughyedz
despite our defeat at Bradford we now can not finish in the bottom 2. with 1 round to go we could finish 0n 16 points above swinton-sheffied-Whitehaven-Workington the fixtures that effect us are as cfollows. Oldham v workington swinton v batley leigh v Dewsbury Whitehaven v sheffied Why have you included Leigh v Dewsbury ????
roughyed34
i suspect the Leigh v Dews game is included because if Dewsbury lose,us and Sheffield win, the three clubs will be level on 16pts,with Swinton on 15,Haven 11 and Worky 9.All to play for now. Up the Yeds!
Roughyedz
ah but its irrelavent as Oldhams defence ( and hence points diff ) is the worst of the 3 ( Oldham, Dewsbury and Sheffield ) and so makes no difference . . . .
