Havenwarrior
Congratulations to Callum who has been selected for the 19 man squad for this Fridays match against the Aussies. Well done, would have picked Brett instead of that Rugby Imposter Sam Brooks, was a disgrace for Haven early season, and only featured once or twice for Widnes.. Ginock1
On the short term it's bad for TOWN but long term , what better example than this to promote the clubs emphasis on developing local talent.....the consideration for Callum as someone else has already stated is will he be happy travelling to training and playing elsewhere 3/4 days a week on top of working at Sellafield. Anonymouse
I would think it would have to be a very good full time contract to lure some one from semi pro and sellafeild , wouldnt think oldham would be a major draw ? but who knows . be great if he stayed but good luck to him whatever he chooses . Derwent
So why do you think he hasn't resigned Wonky ? How do you know he hasn't and we've just not announced it yet ? I’m not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally
The Voodooguru
and theres zero chance he would take it Dunno about that, from what I was told he's tempted as its a good offer and he's waiting to see if anything else comes in on the back of the internationals before deciding. The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!
Ginock1
Hope that's the case , build the team around him. You hinting he has ? Or you just hoping he has ?
townie88
Hearing that if he can get an agreement to train once a week rather than twice he's off?? Hope not. This is the one time since he signed that he will be the central focal point in the team. Will be a huge miss if he goes.
town4me
Most of us don't know which way it will go but why does it feel like town are a last resort. That may not be the case and i may be wrong but thats what it feels like.
