Well we didnt want DR

An abject lesson in taking your chances and making the right decisions at Spotland yesterday. After deservedly earning a narrow half-time lead, early in the second half we arrived at this game's crossroads ... Watson backs up a break and is looking to go under the sticks but a defender comes across and nearly knocks his block off ...four points up, the perpetrator gets 10 minutes and we have a penalty bang in front. So, what would you do?

Well, we chose to tap and run it, which ultimately proved to be the wrong choice as we lost it on the first tackle. Then a few minutes later when Rochdale got their full complement back they turned up the heat for 15 minutes and that was enough to see them home.

A bit disappointing, as for long periods we looked capable of taking the points - notwithstanding the fact that the Rochdale half-backs were noticeably quicker and creative than ours. Haley and Reed made good ground up front and new loan signing Johnson, whilst obviously not fit, added size and some nice offloads. Three quarters all did well too, with Agoro showing good spirit, after making a mistake that gifted Hornets a try, making up for it by taking a difficult kick to score one himself a few minutes later.

By no means the end of the world, but it seems we still have a lot to learn in close games, and seeing as the next few games all have the potential to be close we need to learn quickly ...

stick with it, no DR,

ALL our players were inherited by MB --- give him time to bring the players HE WANTS in.

Has the DR arrangement with Fev been scrapped then? (Been out of the country for a while so not up to date with things)
