  1. You missed out the part where people who aren’t going or who are underwhelmed get lambasted and somehow become the reason for its failure.
  2. I mean, there’s the possibility of a TV channel coming in but … god, this is dire.
  3. He supports Arsenal so he prefers their games but is happy to come along to the occasional game locally.
  4. You are absolutely right to be sceptical. If you're wrong, then it won't matter. But if you don't have your wits about you then it could go very badly.
  5. With the choice split between City, Liverpool and Arsenal, the only positive I can take is that at least Chelsea aren't in the running. Tiny Ginger did, I think have the biggest gap possible (virtually) between games in terms of position. He was at Arsenal v Villa (so 2nd in Prem) and his previous was Bexhill v Little Common (17th in Division 10).
  6. This is Evan Archibald. Yesterday was his last ever game at home for Bexhill United. He has one more game - away at Horsham in a fortnight. The 180 (Division 10) strong crowd applauded him off and this is him as he turned to face them before going into the dressing room.
  7. I'm four episodes in. Enjoying it but really won't need to see another US series hang its hat on subverting 1950s wholesome Americana.
  8. I don't think it is, directly. I also said at the time that the new system locks out clubs - from the professional structure not Super League.
  9. West Wales and London Skolars have both gone in the past couple of seasons. Oxford gone, Hemel much scaled back, Gloucestershire All Golds likewise. Midlands are Coventry but moved. The only new one is Cornwall.
  10. I didn't hear any updates or previews on Five Live in advance which is disappointing. They were very into the Grand National though - everything else was just picking up pieces.
  11. During the game itself, you could access the live coverage on the main BBC Sport page in the top rank of links. Those numbers I put up are from that time. We should probably stop putting all the blame on the only broadcaster who has shown any interest in the Challenge Cup at all.
  12. Fifth now. Main is the women's six nations then Premier League, Emma Raducanu tennis, European RU, then RL ... Viewers on each of those pages (bearing in mind we're also on BBC Two = not sure where the others are actually being shown): 6,180; 95,184, 11,493, 4,325, 2,213 ...
  13. The Live Guide is unusable at the best of times and it is getting worse.
