  1. Great news - a Fan's Fan, who, like the team has some cracking support behind him. Would also like to see the piccies of Gary in his Tux. blue and white cumberband and his baseball cap, or in the spirit of the Grand Final, his flat cap. Maybe on Sunday eh?, but bet my house on not!
  2. Quick look at player stats shows 116 goals and 1 drop goal. If we did both at 5p - it would be
  3. This has been suggested before at 5p - not sure how much it would have netted us this year. We will find out over the close season and sell it as an option next season maybe. Pledge a Try and /or Pledge a Goal 2011 is in the planning process!
  4. P.S. ANYONE WANTING TO SUPPORT US NEXT YEAR, SEE JON IN THE BLUE LAGOON AND PUT YOUT NAME DOWN. IT IS A SMALL COST WEEKLY BUT ADDS UP GOOD. THIS YEAR'S PLEDGES WILL TAKE US OVER
  5. Hi, Stratobil You were on our list to try sort out as we move to the end of the season and want to collect and hand over as much as we can at the Barrow game. We've approaching
  6. Thatchers, Handley, Glover and the Johnsons staying in the Ibis Central, but we're on the Carcasonne flight from East Midlands so the chaps can have a little bit of history on Sunday in Carscasonne before we fly back Monday. Besides - did Toulouse last year, it's not that big! ETA at Melting Pot - what 1pm? Steph's directions Melting Pot to Hotel pretty much nail on the head, from what I remember... No nicking the Rovers scarf from the Melting Pot - if it's still up! Quand j'
  7. Good to see spirits were maintained (and drunk??) - reminiscent of the Clubhouse after the Grand Final, thank goodness my husband wasn't here, po-going! FANTASTIC
  8. Thanks, Startobill. Will put you down for 20p per try, and let you know at the end of the season what the total is. We're in the Blue Lagoon and clubhouse each match, ask behind the bar for Jon Thatcher, and they will point him out, if you want to pay throughout the season.
  9. Cheers, Maureen, will see you on Sunday. Problem is I don't chasing people for their Pledges, cos all our supporters all do so much for the Club already, I can hardly demand more from you. This is why we never collect the full amount, but every penny we do collect I know is gratefullu accepted by FRISA.
  10. I hadn't but any indication of carrying on accepted, I'll put you both down on the list, tell Bob to get his pockets filled! Cheers, Sharon and Jon
  11. Hit by the recession in 2009?, the Pledge a Try scheme raised a total of
  12. For me - has to be Toulouse, the excitement of my first away trip which involved flying, seeing my Rovers Scarf in the Melting Pot as a lasting reminder of our visit, and above all - Jon and Dave Handley leading the singing on the free bus and metro back to the Melting Pot. A warm, balmy evening but a full-on encounter, where we took it to the French and they accepted it with little question. Only downside, hearing about poor old Ian, was we glad he made a speedy recovery and we saw him back home at the match the next week. And I did fly home, though it was a couple of days later!
