Some posters on here will no doubt have seen the footage on the interweb of the man being racially abused on a tram in G Manchester. it turns out that the man involved, Juan Jasso, is an American citizen, forces vet, MMU lecturer and, parochial interest peaked, a Rugby League player who lives in Todmorden, who has coached at Calderdale College.

Two winners of Nobel Prizes for science came from Todmorden; one for physics and one for chemistry.

There is cracking Pennine countryside around it.
