He tries his butt off but is largely ineffective to my eyes and furthermore he never EVER plays the ball correctly. A bit of good business by the Bradford Bulls to offload him for big money I think! Yes. Because Bradford are financially sound right now. Good decision. Personally though, I rate Bateman. Can become a very, very good player. I could play behind hulls pack how they've performed at times this season. I don't think Tomkins is overrated any more, most people can see he isn't as effective as he was. Jamie Shaul overrated for mine. Have only seen him play about 5 times in fairness and he has impressed with some deft running but I'm not seeing an international class fullback. I'd throw Sam Rapira - thought he would be devastating in SL but has looked pretty average when I have seen him for Huddersfield. Keith Galloway another. Bateman, although one of the least likeable and niggly players you'll come across, is one of the best players in SL and has often carried some of his Wigan team mates around the park with him. Most of the players mentioned get more stick than they ever get praise, so I don't see hoe they can be over-rated. I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
