  1. I like this idea. Cumbria could be competitive and their fans would definitely get behind them. The 2nd tier could be used for development areas such as London, N Wales and S Wales. My only concern would be if there are any other areas that could compete with London in the 2nd tier. What kind of team could N Wales, S Wales or maybe even the North East put out?
  2. I’m sure you know enough about RL to know they would put a big score on London. I wasn’t even saying we should bring the Roses back my point was that if they did then London shouldn’t play against Yorkshire or Lancashire
  3. But Yorkshire and Lancashire putting 80+ points on London is exciting???
  4. I think if there was a Yorkshire vs Lancashire game then Cumbria vs London/SE could be played at the same time but wouldn’t include them all together in the same tournament
  5. How’s Lewis Murphy getting on? I feel he has the potential to be a top quality NRL winger. Maybe even better than Dom???
  6. It would be good if we could get a game involving the best 34 English players in SL but I don’t think they’d be enough buy in from fans, clubs, players and the media for it to work. We need to somehow create a similar situation like Samoa, Tonga etc up here with Wales, Ireland, France, Jamaica and some of the African countries like Nigeria so they can put out competitive teams for mid season competitions
  7. I’m not sure if Toulouse provide half the players. I was talking about the Catalans players plus Chan, Sangare, Goudemond and Salabio. What would the 17 be? I do agree that Toulouse players should be available and that Toulouse shouldn’t be playing that weekend never mind straight after
  8. What’s the potential France line up? I think they should be able to put out a competitive team
  9. They should try get themselves involved in the Pacific Cup at the end of the year otherwise it’s just a team on paper with nobody to play
  10. I agree. Those three plus Gannon and Wingfield gives us potentially 6 quality second rowers
  11. Could Murphy be better than Dom? He seems to have everything needed for a good winger. Speed, agility, athleticism, good finisher and ball skills
  12. Currently they’re having more on field success but as Leeds, St Helens and Wigan have shown, as well as Penrith in the NRL, bringing a steady stream of academy players through is better for long term success
  13. One big positives for Hull is the young players that are coming through. I was impressed with Moy when he came on and Charles looks like he’s going to be a good player. A few good signings will help but long term success is based on bringing quality juniors through
  14. Are Utah part of the Pacific competition?
  15. I’m not sure why people are moaning about Hull KR. They’re doing a lot of things right
