moorside roughyed Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I'm really looking forward to this one.Two teams on an even playing field.With what I've read about the Leigh game,if we can play at that type of intensity and pace we should be a threat to any of the teams aside the full timers.Even a couple of Leigh fans have said the score flattered them. roughyed34 Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 This one should be interesting, more realistic to use this game as a benchmark of where we are at in our development, against one of the better part time teams in the league. Hopefully we maintain the level of performance we have shown in the last two,keep switched on at all times and play for the full 80 mins,we should do very well. Only potential problem is we could be down to the absolute bare bones with Thommo and Roper possibly concussed last week,Grimmer not played in the first games with the leg injury and Briscoe out as we know, Kenny has a dicky knee too. Could leave us with only 16 fully fit players. Hopefully later in the week the injuries will have cleared up,bar Briscoe. Should help us gauge what we need to do to consolidate this season. Quietly confident after Sundays workmanlike performance.
