  1. I actually fancy our cha........ Forget that, just remembered we're concentrating on a new scoreboard and seats
  2. 1992 Sheffield eagles 20 - 16 Castleford Peter Coyne debut - to say the build up didn't live up to expectations would be an understatement. Simply dreadful game
  3. Not sure the crocket thing stands up As a Cas fan I would say the team that I want to beat the most is Leeds Rhinos by some distance however I am, and have been for some time, a paid up member at Leeds United. Marching on Together being played at Headingley is a total mind bender for me.
  4. Really enjoyed that last night - some great rugby on show. Watching Mikey Lewis makes me realise how much I miss big internationals against the Aussies - imagine him up against some of them, would be absolutely box office
  5. We'll get beat by 24 I reckon Trying to put a prediction on the Wakey thread but can't seem to find it?
  6. Silly errors and ineffective half backs lost us that game but I'll say the same thing as last week, this team is 1000% more likeable than the rabble from the last 2 years. We showed we can play which was encouraging and actually defended 4 sets of 6 on our line before they finally burst through. Salford deserved the win but very proud of the lads again. Thought Lawler incorrect play the ball was wrong decision in my opinion but other than that I though the ref let the game flow really well and made for a very enjoyable game.
  7. Similar to your beef with Cas - been going on for years - great entertainment if nothing else
  8. You're getting to grips with the forum then I see
  9. I think the fans feel like we have a team of lads who need to justify their spot and therefore show pride and passion in the Jersey. Last year was journeymen who didn't appear to care a great deal. All we ask for is effort and commitment- we saw more of that in 80 minutes last night than we did all season last year.
  10. Very proud of the effort last night, particularly defensively. There was a very different feel in the ground than last year. Most fans stayed until the end to clap the lads off. Won't comment on the cards Very enjoyable evening
  11. yeah 100% spot on Les - done absolutely nothing my apologies.
