Jarrod Sammut is the central spoke . Get him ... And get him some grunt in the middle to play off , and get him some strike outside to feed out of his overflowing box of tricks .With him there we could have backs getting twenty tries for the first time in a long while . Getting him may make Eliot think hard . Him and Carter are suddenly having a field day . I think this league will be more competitive and a little more even next year .

Well I see once again on the Haven forum that Olstrum is signing for them again!!!!   How many years is this on the trot that he's been signing for them?    Why would a player like Olstrum want to leave Town to go play there?     There seems to be a feeling that he hasn't played much for us this season but to date he has played 19 games out of 26 which is quite good for the sort of game he plays.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Signing Sammut would be massive.

Are there any locals from the Allerdale area good enough for Town!?

Wouldnt mind Eddie Battye and Dom Brambani who have just been released by Sheffield!

Hopefully Hulme will be out strike centre.

Murphy/Forrester

Carter/Miller/Ritson

Mossop/Hulme/Akehurst/Rooney/Whitely

Sammut/Forber/Doran

Shackley/Walker/Scholey/fifita/coward

Mattinson/Lucock/c.phillips

Stack/B.Phillips/Soztak/Horton/Deurden/

Olstrum/Mcavoy

Who will go?

Doran isn't ours and who knows what will happen there ? I'd still want another centre and half looking at that , and at least a prop . All depending on if we lose anyone to begin with , and then it's up in the air . Some we can carry fine, others not

I think the only way Karl goes to haven will be if town for some reason decide he's not in there plans. I wouldn't be shocked if 2 of our lads end up there, but I'd be amazed if one of them is ell.

I'd like to see TW stay at Town. He's still young and has plenty of potential to develop into a really good prop. It's nice to see lads like TW wanting to come back home to play after playing for SL academy teams.

Young Tom was excellent when he came back on for his second spell.    That was the lad we saw on those DVD clips at the start of the season.

I have heard that sammut loves it up here and if his girlfriend will move up here from Yorkshire then he would love to sign. All the offers have been made to the players PV wants and he wants answers soon! I believe olstrum & Miller could be the ones to go to Haven as they have offered them a lot more money than town have offered. That has come from a pretty reliable source!
