  1. I think in reality people are unlikely to pay for 12m, so you'd probably knock £60 quid off meaning the max is probably £180.
  2. Hey, if we could be as organised and regular as Oxen, we'd be delighted!
  3. I think some fans need to be careful before celebrating a victory here. We have seen Saints win certain appeals which may be a victory on technical grounds but reasonable people don't agree with them. These are unorthodox tackles, genuinely nobody else in SL seems to be tackling regularly like this, they are often reckless and whilst he may win the odd case because of a disagreement about point of contact being a few centimetres here and there, these are risky tackles. I think phiggins is right, the focus here should be about him improving his tackle technique rather than celebrating techonal 'wins'.
  4. POtentially - hopefully we will look back on this year being a blip i the grand scheme of things. I do think what my lists do mask are the fact that underneath the headline internationals, we have done little. We have played the major Test matches regularly, and held World Cup's with an element of regularity, but we haven't grown any of the other internationals - either v France, Wales, or even SH nations.
  5. Things like this could be real value-add pieces for SL+. Offering exclusive matches that can't be seen elsewhere can be a nice differentiator between them and Sky. I do think SL+ is a little too niche at the moment based on Sky offering everything they do plus more, so I think SL+ has to focus on these extras that can be unique to it.
  6. Didn't you just copy and paste from some idiot on a forum?
  7. It's poor that it doesn't explain it properly, and I have gone through to try and find out.
  8. In reality, things aren't quite as bad as they maybe appear right now. Covid did hit us hard. We don't have many games so wiping those couple of years out has made it seem worse imo. But on top of my list, without covid we'd have had a 2020 Ashes and a 2021 World Cup. When we look at the fixtures for the next few years it ain't that bad if it comes off. It's really 2024 that is the car crash. I would also add that we are meant to be touring Australia in 2025 for an Ashes series, how good would it be if we had dates and fixtures now so that tours could be saved for and planned?
  9. Well according to the IRL's calendar: 2024 - God knows 2025 - Men's and Women's Ashes tours to Oz 2026 - SH WC 2027 - Home series v NZ 2028 - Home series v Aus It really hasn't been a great plan in terms of flipping hemispheres.
  10. Even beyond the often touted halcyon years of the 80's and 90's we've had a great couple of decades in general. 2000 - Home World Cup 2001 - Home Ashes 2002 - Home series v Kiwis 2003 - Home Ashes 2004 - Home Tri Nations 2005 - Home Tri Nations 2006 - Aus/NZ Tri Nations 2007 - Home series v Kiwis 2008 - Aus World Cup 2009 - Home 4N 2010 - Aus/NZ 4N 2011 - Home 4N 2012 - Home Tri Nations (Fra/Wales) 2013 - Home World Cup 2014 - Aus/NZ 4N 2015 - Home Series v Kiwis 2016 - Home 4N 2017 - Aus/NZ World Cup 2018 - Home series v NZ 2019 - Tour to NZ/PNG 2020/21 - Covid affected 2022 - Home World Cup 2023 - Home series v Tonga It's a travesty where we are now ending up.
  11. One thing I'm struggling to follow is whether it is purely PPV i.e. do subscribers of SL+ have this included?
  12. It really does look like we are doing our best to self-harm.
  13. Surely Serious About Rugby League have made you a job offer by now?
  14. Could end up a long list here, but my shortlist: 1 - @Spidey has already called it, but the 2008 WC Final was unbelievable. Great stadium, city, atmosphere and a brilliant match with the Aussies losing the final in their own backyard. Brilliant stuff! 2 - 1994 - GB v Aus at Wembley. That JD try, Edwards getting sent off, over 50k at Wembley, great day out, superb memories. 3 - As a Wire fan, have been lucky with those Wembley wins, so could pick any of them over the last 15 years, but that 2nd win, when we hammered Leeds was a personal highlight. A special mention has to go to the semi final in 2009 when we beat Wigan, looked like being an easy one and ended up tense!
