Full-back Tom Carr spoke to the official website following Sunday's dramatic win against Keighley Cougars.

The Dons fought back from 12 points down, with just 15 minutes remaining to steal the points at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Carr's 77th minute penalty conversion sealed a memorable 26-24 victory for the Dons, surpassing the 200 points mark this season.

"I knew I'd kick it," joked Carr when speaking about his winning goal.

"I was pretty confident, I don't do much practising, I come out before the warm-up at every game and knock a few over and hope for the best.

"It is a massive two points, I think we got a bit lucky really, in the first ten minutes we started really well, we died off but we did really well to pull it back in the final ten minutes.

"It wasn't looking good, we were coming up with errors in our own half, Keighley had more possession, but we all dug deep and managed to scrape a win.

"The injury situation isn't ideal, people like Louis Sheriff who is a winger was playing in the forwards today.

"We are down to the bare bones, but we should still be able to put a 17 out there who can turn up and people are doing the right thing, covering different positions like Louis."

Doncaster's win moves them up to fourth spot in the table, with three games remaining, with the top five qualifying for the play-offs.

Carr admitted the camp is happy with where the Dons currently find themselves.

"It was a four pointer today, if we lost they would have been level on points and it would have been scrappy," added Carr.

"We have a bit of comfort now, we are four points in front of Keighley now which is great and we have also gone above York.

"We are pleased with where we are, we need to take it game by game, but I think we can will all three remaining games.

"There is a real buzz in the camp, we won't be taking anybody lightly, we just need to be consistent like we were against Hunslet.

"We have two weeks off now, hopefully Jason Tali and a few forwards will be available again and it will be good for the boys to have a bit of time off with their families ahead of the Rochdale match."
