  1. I didn't have massive expectations for Hull this year, but I thought we would at least look well drilled and play for eachother and maybe with a bit of luck we could challenge for 6th place. So far I can't really find a single positive from this season. Even the one win we got was an abysmal performance. I really don't know what the answer it. The club is in shambles from top to bottom. The playing squad clearly isnt good enough, the coaching obviously isnt working. We appear to be skint. The fans are being taken for granted with barely any information coming out of the club and they have had enough now. The only positive is that we have some very promising youngsters coming through, but they are going to end up elsewhere because of the current mismanagement. I can genuinely see us becoming the next Bradford.
  2. Frightening that kid is only 21. He is going to be some player.
  3. He was a real mixed bag today. I don't know what he was thinking on the chip and chase that ultimately ended up with the sin binning, if he drops on the ball none of that happens. Was it also him who made an error on a kick to allow Walsh to score (I was only half watching at that point). He did save another couple of certain tries though and he always shows a few touches of class in attack. Waster is harsh, he is still a very good player regardless of what you think of his attitude etc. But I do think that when he comes to the end of his career we will say "he had all the talent in the world, if only he had properly applied himself."
  4. I was encouraged by the performance against Catalans, and we've got a few guys back (a couple more out aswell mind you). If Lam and Amone play then I'm less confident. But without them I don't think Leigh are quite the same, and Hull should win by a couple of scores.
  5. Well at least we've had a dig. After that early try I feared an almighty hammering, but we've actually held our own for most of the game. Just really lacking a bit of quality.
  6. At some point this season we might be able to go a whole 80 minutes without being down to 12 men. It looks unlikely at the minute, but I live in hope.
  7. The yellow card has ended it as a contest, which is a shame because it was a very soft one, and because London were making a good fist of it until then.
  8. I also have no idea what the six again was for when Field was tackled. London can count themselves a bit unlucky there I reckon.
  9. Wow that's a tough card. He literally just grabbed an ankle. There was no lift and dump.
  10. Miloudi is always good value. Can never accuse him of being boring that's for sure. His time with Hull was a mixed bag to say the least, but I always enjoyed watching him.
  11. Sorry, I just read your post and not the follow ups That's not a bad half from London tbf. If it wasn't for some of the really basic errors they would be right in the game. They do look like they've got tries in them which is good to see.
  12. I think in those cases where it leaves the hands it's not enough just to put to your hand on it again, you've got to actually regain control. He did a much better job finishing that one anyway.
  13. Obviously London don't have the quality to compete with a team like Wigan, but some of the daft errors and penalties shouldn't be getting made at any level. Really shooting themselves in the foot.
