  1. I heard shoulder injury, though on the terraces at the time so can't comment on validity. No idea how bad.
  2. It's not segregation, it's limiting numbers on the terracing due to restrictions put in place by Wakey council. You have to be counted in so that capacity is not exceeded.
  3. With Gorman and Wacokecoke, I'd have said we have more pace than we've had for some time. Not necessarily in the right place at the right time though. We are struggling half back wise, and that's not to knock either Turner (who seems to be a runner, not an organiser) and Bowes (young lad, out of position) when we really need a general to organise plays and get us around the park. Addy is doing that well, but need halfback support. Bradford attendance about what I expected, similar to previous years.
  4. A slow ruck made for what felt like a dull game to me, though at least with a level of interest that for much of the game there didn't feel too much between the sides. Bradford clearly started stronger, we came right back into it and early in the second half felt like we could get on top. The miscommunication between Aekins and England felt like the turning point however, we just seemed to step up with more errors after that. A lot of one man rugby as well throughout, when we didn't have the biggest of packs for that game plan. Hopefully that's circumstance through lots of chopping and changing, and not the game plan for the rest of the year.
  5. Best wishes, shame it didn't work out. No real suprise though, and probably the best thing for all parties. Given our finances at present, hopefully helps there too with a wage of the payroll.
  6. A few booked for me this year. Quite mor really in the main though. In date order (so far) Miles Hunt The Killers Embrace/Ash/Cud/Sleeper/OCS Noel Gallagher Shed Seven Lack of gigs at the Piece Hall this year, in part due to the artists and in part due to the ridiculous ticket prices.
  7. Not saying there aren't any, but I'm struggling to think of an example where profit is made in owning a sporting club as an individual. Certainly not in RL, you need a benefactor, not an investor looking for a return. That's true for all clubs, not just London.
  8. This is beginning to feel a little like two bald men, fighting over a comb.
  9. The floodlights do need upgrading. Given the terracing issues, I'd suggest that's the priority for upgrading next however.
  10. It was decided by one team scoring more points than the other. Agreed, good to have two close games and get a local rivalry back.
  11. I appreciate the novelty of expecting to win every week is something you're not used to.
  12. Whilst Wacokecoke wasn't great tonight, it wasn't just him drifting in and leaving a big overlap on his own. I do wonder whether it's time to give Wynne a run on the wing though, and see if Wacokecoke's pace is more of a benefit when grounds dry out. Entertaining game, and can't complain at the result. With a few more back, we'll hopefully have a decent season, although for those wanting a general type halfback, I suspect that's probably now wishful thinking given our financial issues.
  13. No complaints on the result from me. I'm cold, wet and we lost. Best entertainment for a couple of seasons though, enjoyable and close game. Time will tell given first match of the season for me, but feels like it will be more enjoyable without any pressure on for promotion.
  14. Given the missing players, right selections for me. No point in having more players than necessary being out of position.
