  1. Totally agree with this post, the better team won but it should have been by a greater margin. Surely its not acceptable to concede two walk in tries out wide both conceded on the same wing / centre. We were pinged 4 times for obstruction not sure whether it was poor decision making by us or poor refereeing.
  2. What is going on, we knew the shortfalls from last season regarding size, pace and strength. Recruitment hasn't been good enough. Its no good just turning up for the derby games then the disasters of the first two league games. This season is already over but I will still go on supporting my home Town team. UTT
  3. If Sammut plays to his full ability, and our defence is up for it who knows what may happen.
  4. Jordan Burns break happened in front of me, there was support both inside and outside, trouble was there was also Haven players in between that's why Jordan tried to dummy his way to the line.
  5. First game of the season and thoroughly enjoyed it. Could have been 20 points up at half time, sammuts try from the kick off was sublime, a pity he was involved in their first two trys but that's what you get with Jerrard, we are a better team when he plays. Haven won the game in the 3rd quarter of the game where we struggled to match their physicality.
  6. The Haven game? What's he banned for?
  7. Appears to have been a better second half ( I imagine this was playing down the famous slope). Congrats to Wath Brow for being the last team standing in the cup. Does this tell us something about the current state of Rugby League in Cumbria?
  8. Well I have my wish Townie 987, welcome back to Town Mr Sammut.
  9. Remember beating them at home when they had a star studded team, if my memory is correct from that team we signed Phil Mckenzie and Kurt Sorenson coached town after playing for Haven.
  10. A marquee signing would give everyone a lift
  11. Fully agree with this last post. The signing of a player like Sammut would in my opinion give everyone a lift, can't say I am looking forward to next season, hope I am wrong.
  12. I would like Sammut to return, will still do a job in div 1 and help bring on the young players.
  13. How expensive are imports? Is there no funding available from the RFL to employ them in the community?
