  1. Some clubs broadcast their matches on the Veo app, its free to download and, from memory you have to follow the club you want to watch. The camera follows the ball and sometimes is a little behind play, so it's not television quality but it's better than missing the game. You don't have to watch live either.
  2. So far only seen Dead Men Walking this year, but have a few lined up starting with SLF next week. In summer, I've got North West Calling, Green Day, Mayhem @ Mick's and Rebellion then Morecambe Punk Festival in November. Like to try and get at least one per month, so need to sort a few out
  3. Being honest, I never knew it was still a law until quite recently
  4. I don't think I've ever seen a deliberate knock on given either when watching or playing. Personally I have no issues with a deliberate knock on as a defensive tactic, as on a overlap the advantages lie with the attacking team, if they fail to convert that advantage then they haven't earned the score.
  5. RFL match centre usually updates not too long after the games have finished https://www.rugby-league.com/match-centre
  6. Last year's match v St Helens was referred by Ashley Klein. According to Wikipedia, Klein is the son of John Klein, a former Penrith player. During the match Klein gave a dubious forward pass that Saints would have scored from, he ruled out a drop goal for a dubious obstruction and he gave a Penrith try when Welsby was shouldered from clearing the ball by a non scoring player. You see how that doesn't look great? The difference was, Saints were able to overcome decisions that went against them. Penrith weren't, and their fans have been moaning ever since
  7. Once saw an interview with Martin O'Neil where he made that very point. He compared himself to John Robertson, who was a very gifted natural player, but he himself had to strive to be the best he could be and constantly think of ways to improve himself
  8. Interesting article. Apart from International Rules, which are 'tricky' for both sides, Penrith had none of those issues to contend with last year, yet still didn't win
  9. Think he only played at amateur level. Sam Tomkins said on sky last night that he coached at Wigan St Pats before going to Wigan. Tomkins also said that earlier in the week, all the players had been to a funeral, Liam Marshalls mother I think, and Matty Peet got them all together and told them that this would be the most important thing they do this week, supporting one of their own when he needed it. What a man
