<p>Doncaster Rugby League are #ReadyToRoar after launching the start of the Kingstone Press League 1 Super 8s campaign at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. </p>

<p>Head coach Gary Thornton, chief executive Carl Hall, playing duo Jordie Hedges and Jason Tali, along with mascot Vila all had a terrifying encounter as they prepare to kick off in the Super 8s.</p>

<p>The fearless five came face to face with some of the most feared and deadly creatures on the planet in the African Lions which are housed at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.</p>

<p>After finishing the regular season in fourth spot, the Dons guaranteed four home games in the Super 8s and will begin the campaign against Barrow Raiders on Sunday at the Keepmoat Stadium (3pm).</p>

<p>The Dons will also come up against league leaders Toulouse Olympique XIII and West Yorkshire outfit Keighley Cougars before rounding off the series against the London Skolars in what promises to be a fixture list packed full of great entertainment.</p>

<p>“We have launched our Super 8s Season Ticket, which we have had a lot of uptake in already, there is a lot of interest in these big games we have coming up at the Keepmoat Stadium,” said Hall.</p>

<p>“We need the whole town to support us, we have some fantastic games coming to Doncaster, especially with the likes of Toulouse visiting us.</p>

<p>“It is a vital time of the season for us, we finished fourth at the end of the regular season and hopefully now we can slip through and get promoted back to the Championship.”</p>

<p>Head coach Gary Thornton declared his side are #ReadyToRoar in the series ahead of Sunday’s first tie.</p>

<p>Thornton said; “The Super 8s is something we are really excited about and something we are really looking forward to getting underway.</p>

<p>“The Super 8s Season Ticket is a fantastic gesture from the club, it has been a long hard season for people in unfamiliar scenarios playing different teams.</p>

<p>“We have got where we want to be by finishing in the top four, that is our first hurdle over, we now need to finish as high as we can ahead of the play-offs and hopefully the people of Doncaster will get right behind us.”</p>
