Just seen the story in the Press and would be totally, totally gutted if he goes, Kris is one lad we cannot afford to lose if we want to get out of this division in my opinion.

A club like York is always going to lose it's best players to bigger clubs.

 

Although in my opinion, York should be and could be one of the bigger clubs but something seems to always hold us back for some reason.

Great young player who'll improve massively at a proper club, if you've offered money then I'd say it's a given that old fruity loops will snap your hand off. Another one added to the list.

Agree with Simon - great young player - his passing has improved in the last year or so, very quick and very, very strong tackler - puts big lads on their backs whatever division

Also you won't meet a nicer lad than Kris

Sounds good...we've had and still got some very promising young Hookers at the club who haven't had much of a look in. Sharp seems very keen on someone who's strong in defence so this may be why we're looking at Brinning.

He's a cracking player and a cracking lad. The only thing I'm suprised about is a Super League club haven't come after him like they did for my last two tips for stardom, Tom Lineham and Greg Minikin! By the way, it's Brining not Brinning and he's a bit touchy about that!

When we left the stadium my friend and I were nearly blown over by the gale force wind and the cold drizzle did not help. We both commented that sitting in the stands we did not appreciate the conditions in which the teams had been playing and all the players are to be congratulated on giving us a most enjoyable game. York deservedly won despite some 'mysterious' decisions by Mr Merrick.

Far, far too early to get carried away, but that was a superb effort from 1 to 17 in dreadful conditions, ok Hunslet completion rate must have been very poor, but a lot of that was due to our line speed and aggression in the tackle.

Anyone could have got MOM, but got to mention Aldous, Spiers, Wilkinson and Nicklas who kicked brilliantly all day, spilt the winger and full back every time, all in all a very promising start and also a really good turn out from the Knights fans
