I would imagine if you removed Muslims from those numbers the % drops much further

7.7% are non Christian religious according to the figures, I think.

I'm fine with people having a faith, they're free to believe whatever they like no matter how far fetched and fanciful it may be. However I've always believed there's is no place for religion when it comes to setting the rules & laws in society that we all have to live by or in them influencing the decision makers. For me that's imposing their religious beliefs on everyone and its a relic of the past.

The survey is about people who identify as religious.  People have been identifying as religious but going nowhere near a place of worship for years.  It used to be traditional to identify with Christianity simply because you were christened or born in the UK or your parents said they belonged to one denomination or another.  I wouldn't say the survey is an indicator of anything other than a change in that practice, given that the survey also includes people who once identified as religious now not doing so.  There hasn't been a sudden drop off in religious adherence since 2011; the decline has been far more gradual than that.

Losing faith in organised religion is not losing faith.

Your not comparing apples with apples, the guy who did the latest survey was interviewed on the radio yesterday and seemed keen not to draw comparisons between his findings and that of 2011 due to how differently the question was worded.

Which one?

None of them, I'm an atheist for Christ's sake.
