  1. You'll get a few quid from winning the "We took a few fans to France" trophy though so that'll help
  2. It's all about managing your squad and looking after the players, a lot of work goes on in the background when it comes to loans and building relationships with other clubs and without them we would have struggled big time (Who knows when we might need their help again). I think at one point we had 15 of our own lads available. Hopefully some won't be to far away but others might be longer term Hutton has had a great start to his semi pro career but look at where he has came from and the teams he's played so far, these things need managed, if he was rested for a loan player then I'm sure he will react in the right way and long term will a better player for it. Need to trust in the coaching team and BOD and the process they are following, it might mean some tough decisions along the way but if we want to improve then so be it. UTT 🩵
  3. Just another 8 to come from overseas then we'll have caught up with Haven
  4. Between 7-8 players who would almost certainly have been playing if they were fit. Fair play to the lads who are pulling the shirt on every week
  5. Exactly this, we've pretty much played championship teams up until this point, Oldham and Keighley will be far ahead of everyone in this league IMO, we've got them out of the way now, so it's time to regroup and see how we go against the rest. Injuries aren't an excuse, they are an absolute fact, especially with so many ruled out.
  6. Round Four Batley Bulldogs or Workington Town v Rochdale Hornets or Midland Hurricanes Hunslet or Keighley Cougars v Thatto Heath Crusaders or Featherstone Rovers Cornwall or York Acorn v Stanningley or Wath Brow Hornets Bradford Bulls or North Wales Crusaders v Widnes Vikings or Doncaster Swinton Lions or West Hull v Barrow Raiders or Oldham Siddal or Wakefield Trinity v Lock Lane or Hunslet ARLFC Halifax Panthers or Whitehaven v Hammersmith Hills Hoists or Wests Warriors Dewsbury Rams or York Knights v Sheffield Eagles or Newcastle Thunder
  7. Would be shocked if they pulled 600 /700 for this game. Did they do the draw for the following round as well? Anyone know who we could play if we managed to progress?
  8. Now I'm not saying that both will be flying high, but if they can stay injury free then I think Haven and Barrow will be comfortably safe from relegation. Like I say though, lack of squad depth is the key factor.
  9. Heard he was looking to play elsewhere this year and has been training with Barrow.
  10. Don't really understand the negativity, I know we've lost a couple of quality players but the others that have gone, I think have been replaced with better, or certainly lads with potential to be better - A fair bit of Championship level experience and locals who've excelled over the last couple of years and are ready to kick on. Maybe we can't keep pace with likes of Oldham and Keighley but I would much prefer we spend within our limits than lose the club altogher trying to be something that we aren't UTT
  11. Somebody will always miss out, that's the whole point of having a squad.
  12. Seen him a couple of times, looked a great prospect
