  1. I assume this is because we wont have the services of Charlie Severs now due to the mayhem at Hull FC.

Still think you'll come out top though. Would have been a better contest with Koppy, ET and Pat Moran playing.
  3. Ata should be ready for Donny, Didn't get a definitive answer on Cunno. Ronan ready for Donny too. Levi and Bailey not till mid season.

According to some Oldham fans on their site, they have already won League One.

Hi Jackie. I would hope I didn't sound rude to Oldham at any point as I'm a fan of all RL not just our home side. I think the comment of 'little men' might have been taken out of context but I'll listen back and see. I thought Oldham were overwhelmed early doors but put up a much better show in the second half. There are some good youngsters there who will be an asset as they gain more experience. Particularly impressed by young Tyrer, O'Keefe and Logan Astley. Wildie always gives it the lot and did and Farnworth was really good. Your fans were fantastic and never stopped their singing and cheering. As I said at full time, we wish Oldham all the very best in their L1 campaign. Oh, and by the way, Jordan Turner's offload to his namesake in the second half that almost got him in at the left corner was world class. Thanks for tuning in.

Apparently they took a couple of knocks in defeat against the Lions. Elijah Taylor and Craig Kopczack....
  7. I did. Have a look on BBC Radio York Sport on twitter, sorry X (and that's not me sending you a kiss!).

If you cant make it to the game, full match commentary on BBC Radio York from 2pm. Be good to have you along...
  9. Pretty sure Jesse Dee went to the bin for the late hit not any dissent or backchat. And as for the alleged headbutt, reports from the video footage suggest otherwise, Nearenough?
  10. Can only agree with most of what has been said on here, Dagger could be 6-8, I reckon. No argument with the two yellows for Tommo and Jesse for late hits but what about the one that Liam took five minutes later. Apply the rules but be consistent. Not only will fans stop watching under current rules but some of the senior players will wonder whether to continue. Spoke to Nick Bennett before the Acorn game yesterday and he said the Csp and L1 referees are under less pressure than their SL colleagues as they can simply go 'on report' but young Mr Rush decided to call it as he saw it today. Our discipline was really poor today but our lads should know that the Eagles have a number of wind up merchants (two in particular who are known for it) and take the ball right to the line which 'invites' the late hit. Paid dividends for them today.
  11. Decent kicking game too generally. No excuse for not knowing how long left.. ask the ref.
  12. Thought Oli Field had a great second half. Donaghy settled down after a nervy start, Coggle made a fantastic early try saving tackle and young Wardy was very solid, though neither got chance of a break Young Myles once more stood up to the plate, defended well and looked dangerous once we woke up after the break. Can't help but think we are in for a really inconsistent season with the refereeing decisions. Cant understand why, with four minutes to go and the Rams 30 from our line, that a decent kicker like Callum Turner didn't go for the drop and instead opted for a nothing lofted effort on the last. Whether he had scored or missed, those last two or three minutes would have panned out differently. Think you might be right, Jon T, similar lineup for Sheffield.
  13. Hmm, given the relative time spent on the pitch of our creative players, a couple of comments early in this thread would lead me to question your early conclusions, fellas.....
  14. I thought the groundsman got it spot on - bit of PVA in the watering can!
  15. Come on, lads. keep up, Spoke to Richie at Newcastle - bit of a hammy strain.
