Haven have started the season with a string of home games , much like we had when we went down . In the old days you got a provisional set of fixtures sent out which you could object to , these days i take it this doesn`t happen . Probably due to a lot of Teams not able to play at certain times because they don`t own the ground , and we have to suffer . This in my opinion should have been one of the things you received points for in the grading system , the fact that your ground was always available and not shared .

Posted something similar on the Barrow site , but Wellens seems to want a big lump on the wing ( as seems to be the norm these days ) , it`s only his size that goes against Him as He is lightning quick as we all know . Makes you wonder if the likes of Martin Offiah would get a game with some of the coaches these days , i.e. not solid enough , suspect tackler ,not good under the high ball , etc.

Agree with all the posters on here regarding Cornwall and we should be racking up the points . One thing though i think they deserve some applause for sticking at it and we should appreciate that . If it wasn`t for them and Newcastle we wouldn`t have enough fixtures in the League we are in , hats off to them for keeping going .

Do you not find it strange , that the first thing our " match summarisers " say is that Warrington have to slow the play the ball down........................nor what the new play the ball rules encourage chaps !

According to Joe Hollidays book on the Town , we sold him to Oldham for £10,650 to set a world record . We then paid Oldham £11,002.10s , which was 50 shillings more than St Helens had paid Wigan for Mick Sullivan , to once again set the world record .

Well , I stuck with Passenger until the last episode , despite it doing my head in , and guess what ? It Didn`t end obviously back for a 2nd series , thanks very much but couldn`t watch any more .

Usually the first person to go over to the away fans and have a craic , all round good guy.......shocking decision .

Most enjoyable was Sheffield beating Wigan in the Challenge Cup Final . Bought the tickets months before so didn`t know who would be playing , went down expecting the usual Wigan rout ,and really got into being a Sheffield fan for the day .

All i can say is , it is not anywhere near the class of Happy Valley ,it is dark , off the wall and if anything more like the Michael Sheen thing set in Wales that was on a few weeks back .

Passenger on ITV at the moment . lots of scenes in dark scary woods and a story line that hasn`t quite gelled yet , will stay with it but at the moment it`s a bit out there .
