SENIOR NRL official and Rugby League World Cup CEO Michael Brown has resigned from the post after a blazing row with the Penrith Panthers this week.

Brown has also resigned from his role as Chief Commercial Officer for the NRL, according to an NRL statement.

It appears Mr Brown got too heavy handed with Penrith Officials.

Not a good move IMO.

Talent is secondary to whether players are confident.
