Battler public outing

Recommended Posts

Saturday 10th December 2016 at Holy Spirits School and church Heckmondwike starting at midday,

Any volunteers to do this gig, I can make one in as a helper, too old and small to do Battler any justice.

I have approached both Kevin and Paul about this.

Cheers Roger.

Give PM the costume - he won't mind being publicly outed. ;)

Told my missus I was going to a kids school in disguise to promote doggies! She misheard the last bit called the police and they won't let me out until the 11th!

That's not what the Inspector told me, he told me you would be a great deterrent for all the baddies and the police could have a day off.

Whey eh, Holy Spirits done this afternoon.

I don't envy the guy who does it on matchdays.

Good fun though.

Cheers Roger(aka Battler Mk3).

And a good job you did too Roger! Battler certainly attracts attention.

I believe we signed up over 25 children to the Bulldogs club and issued a similar number of children's season tickets.

Great stuff. Dan winner and john humblebys target of 500 kids season tickets must be achievable by the season k/o.

The junior gallant youth pass is a prized possession in my odds and sods draw!

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

Jon Humpleby was ace he did most of the writing and Distantdog did most of the chaperoning, you can't do with out that due to the little ankle biters.

Cheers Roger.
