  1. So you will no longer mis claim Aussie only policy....progress. Now we have too many....are we breaking the quota? Will we be the only club with that number or more next season? We seem to keep losing our Aussie finds to other SL teams which doesn't help. We have enough players to help England scratch a team together but what chance do they have with McNamara selecting the Brylcreem boys? Do you not accept that the quota limit allows clubs to bring key players in who can help the local players to improve, the imports have improved the ability of England to compete without them we would have stagnated. Perhaps Englands lack of progress has more to do with poor management and youth development than Hull KRs desire to progress from championship rugby to beat the top teams regularly....now achieved with the exception of that wonderful Wigan team.
  2. On Rovers roster 1-21 there are 8 English players signed from other English clubs so where do you get this Aussie only policy from? Answer that if you can.
  3. Over and Over again, you must really hate the Rampant Robins. Rovers have not increased their overseas roster and will still be working within the quota limits and salary cap. The team that beat Leeds last week had a good local and young content on the teamsheet. Remember we are losing Withers, OHara, Paea,Patterson and Dobson for 2014 and have sold Scott Taylor and Richie Beaumont as evidence of thge youth development over the last 12 months with Cox, Salter, Green, Hepi amongst those breaking into the side. But then you know that but have this obsession...bordering on bullying...to do Rovers down as the new kid on the block. Do no other SL teams recruit overseas players...funny cos virtually every post match interview seems to contain Aussie accents.
  4. You tell him son. Us ull lads stick together, especially in the face of more wiggie eccentricity...centricity, you stupid tablet.
  5. Know I overstretched there, Hull did manage a League win but needed a bit of cover for slipping in my personal moment, sitting in the stand to the left of Roger Millard when he raised the Cup at Wembley. Perhaps you will feel this warm glow this year!
  6. It's only my opinion but to me Neils "hatred" of Hull only ever gets a mention when Hull fans want to vent their upset that Rovers are stealing their limelight. How they must long for a Chairman / Owner that is actually a true supporter of the club. I love the fact that we have local rivals whether or not we are the top team. In over 50 years of support ing Rovers we have had many years as the junior side in Hull but that makes the good years all the better. I am proud to support the club when we lose and just as proud when we win. You cannot 'beat the feeling of winning at Wembley, of winning the league in the early 80s or of that day in Warrington when we qualified to join the Super League. None of which Hull have managed.
  7. Archibald I would be happy to upset Wigan fans, I was hoping to get 5000 of their crowd to a neutral stadium and at least 5000 Yorkies renown for their love....sorry dislike for the big Red Rose teams. The fact is the RFL have shown their total disregard for Broncos fans. If it is all about money why not just rig the cup draw to maximise the crowds at each game by starting with Derby games. Forget the magic of the Challenge cup.
  8. Lets wait for the RFL to respond to their clients....us the fans....with a rational explanation of the choice of venue. To choose a small capacity stadium shows a real lack of imagination. Already forum members are excusing the fans of the bigger clubs who fail to turn up for a Challenge Cup semi final. If we are to put the game on a solid financial footing games like this offer a great marketing opportunity. David v Goliath, challenge the neutrals in Yorkshire to adopt the Broncos as honorary Yorkshire and play the game at Leeds or the KC. We all understand a neutral ground will not be equidistant but ...in the borough of Wigan? Why do they have to announce the venue this morning? Wait 12 hours and we would have known both teams and could have discussed venues in that knowledge. As a supporter of the Cats and Broncos in the absence of HKR I have attended every semi and finals involving these teams but not this time ( travelling from South Wales. ) With my family that's another 4-6 missing in the crowd.
  9. Disgraceful decision . Insult to the many London fans who are spread over the south of England and therefore will find a little town beyond Manchester expensive and difficult to get to. A virtual home tie for Wigan and insufficient capacity if these fantastic Wigan fans bother to turn up. Leeds would have been a good choice for transport connections and Walsall FC a good compromise location wise and capacity considerations. Another example of RFL incompetence...they shouldn't try to fix the odds just because they want to see Wigan at Wembley. Conspiracy theorists will see a desire to guide Hull through as the Wires fans are tiring of Wembley and Hull fans are desperate.
