  1. Ah OK. They did let year and was an assumption tbh. The way we are now getting our act together I just assumed they would.
  2. Easy for me. Losing 71-10 yo Wigan in the challenge cup semi final at Burnden Park. Early 90s. As a 14 year old ish, seeing Wembley and I'd been once to watch Halifax in 88, a potential Cup Final with my team was a possibility. Enthusiastic David Hobbs beforehand said "We'll have em!" Alas not and tbh not just because of the result I thought Burnden Park was a poor stadium. I'd have been 6ft and I struggled to see.
  3. Don't know if mentioned but Bulls should have a digital programme available.
  4. But if you find blood them who knows. My thoughts on Hull is an association with poor overseas players over the last decade.
  5. On the what Club would you invest in thread Donny was on my original list. They've got the stadium, a history and a successful Doncaster would get decent support. I for one am looking forward to going there this season.
  6. And when it says at the bottom "and if you like this story"...
  7. I think it'll be either be Skolars back or Carcassonne.
  8. Bulls with 2 more loan signings. Hope it's not shades of last season.....
  9. Think this fits into giving League 1 teams more games.
  10. To use that as a guideline. Catchment area would give us Cumbria, Newcastle, North Wales, London, France, with possibly York Sheffield and Doncaster. My initial thought was Doncaster however I'd say let down on current fanbase. On that note it would possibly be down to York, Cumbria or French team.
  11. After watching the mini Reynolds documentary thus was basically thd guideline. Obviously the buyers profile already lifted the club but were inspired by the Sunderland Netflix documentary (which RL has done warts and all over the years). They wanted to buy a club that needed a lift. The club had to have a loyal fan base but had to be of a respectable amount. Catchment area was a big one. Obviously Wrexham is the only North Wales Club plus "potentially" had all the North Of Wales as potential fans. A loyal cup fan base was a surprising one but obviously gave them something to work on. In addition they got an investment bank involved and stayed loyal to all sponsors of the club when they took over.
  12. There's a good mini documentary on YouTube think under Timo (spl) Football channel about why Wrexham was bought by Reynolds and Co. It looked at certain criteria they considered before buying. I'll feed back after I watch it again nina a bit but would the investment be just for fun or to make money from. It is Rugby League you know.
