  1. Yes NW Crusaders played at least 2 games at Chester RUFC last season and they once played Thatto Heath in a friendly at Colwyn Bay. I saw London play Salford in a Challenge cup tie at Kingstonian FC. I also have programmes .v. Swinton at Hendon FC and .v. Warrington at Newport RUFC. I have the programme from that Carlisle .v. Mansfield game at Penzance.
  2. One way or another the RFL will get the teams that they want in Super league in Super league, one way or another. Personally, I don't watch Super League and I don't care what they do with the rest of the structure either. As long as I can watch Eccles Saturday and North Wales crusaders Sunday I will be ok, for now. Just wish they would scrap dual reg then leave the laws alone for a few years!
  3. Good old Rugby League. It used to be a fantastic sport, when it was about sport, and the reason I stopped following Manchester United 32 years ago.
  4. Halifax is a great little town nec, and I have always enjoyed going to games over there. Some good pubs with great real ales. I know groups of people in Manchester/Salford who have nothing to with Rugby League who often go over to Halifax for the day. I would prefer to have the Northern Rail finals in Blackpool though myself.
  5. So, Its all about how much money can be made from the semi-final then?
  6. I'm really pleased for Crusaders getting their first piece of silverware and our supporters were magnificent yet again. I hope we get as many turn up for the even bigger "cup final" at Oldham. I am glad that Crusaders put the extra points on in the last quarter though because I too think the video decisions went against Skolars, and I would not have been as happy to win the trophy courtesy of a controversial decision. I am certain that one of our tries was short and the decision to rule Skolars player was held up cannot possibly have been a certainty. I thought benefit of the doubt went to the attacking side. Skolars played well and must have been gutted but I am a Crusaders fan and a win is a win. I will take that. Looking forward to Skolars away myself and I am glad that Oldham still have to go there too. Skolars could still have a big say on who wins the title!
  7. I think its first come first served. They will try to put certain sides in certain stands but they won't leave tickets unsold if they can help it. I'm buying mine on the day.
  8. Doncaster could easily accommodate the sf and would have been much fairer. I hope London get through to Wembley.
  9. Money makes the world go around, the world go around, the world go around! I'm loving this. Thank God for the National Conference League.
  10. Several Leigh supporters in the Crusaders ranks but we will be changing alliegancies after the first game. Crusaders and Sheffield for me. Crusaders supporters will be numerous, colourful, loud and proud as always.
  11. At last, after all this time - I am finally getting some entertainment out of Super Greed! Shame its nothing to do with what's going on on the pitch!
  12. Supporters buses are selling out nicely. We were on our third last I heard and many, including me, going by car and train. Staying for both finals as well.
  13. My God, there are going to be some fun and games next season as the 14 clubs try to outcheat each other to get the prized 12 places. The accusations and finger pointing have started already. I don't even watch Super Greed but, for once, I am really looking forward to seeing what happens next season.
  14. I would not believe the prime minister, even if he told me it went dark at night!
